Chromatic Harmonica
The chromatic harmonica has a button on the side which allows you to play the normal major scale, and with the button depressed, gives you all the half steps or notes in between.
This allows you to play any scale, in any key, but you
can't bend notes very well on this instrument so you don't get the same "bluesy" sound as on the diatonic.
Reading music and song tab for the chromatic- The chromatic harmonica hole layout is similar (sometimes referred to as "Solo" tuning) to the diatonic hole layout (referred to as "Richter" tuning), but not the same, so song tablature is different.
Many accomplished chromatic players are able to read standard music notation which eliminates the need for song tab.
The chromatic is mostly used for jazz, classical, and pop music- The chromatic harmonica is typically used in jazz, classical, pop, and music where the melodies require more than a 7-note scale (like the one on a standard diatonic).
A classic example of where a chromatic would be required is the theme song to "Midnight Cowboy". The original theme to "Sesame Street" was also played on a chromatic.
People who play the chromatic harmonica- Stevie Wonder, Toots Thielemans, and Larry Adler are three of the best known players of this instrument.
The 40's and 50's were the heyday of the 'Harmonica Bands' (like the "Harmonicats" and "Harmonica Rascals") and were usually led by a chromatic harmonica player.

Female Bodyguards On The Rise
In 2006, Bodyguard Careers did a story on the need for trained female bodyguards. The need for women in the executive protection field has continued to grow. In India, a new training course has been established for women to learn bodyguarding skills, to meet increasing demands. Female clients are more frequently requesting female bodyguards.
In Moscow, intelligent women between 21 and 37 can apply at the one school available for training in the field. The attitude however, is rather sexist as regards female bodyguards. First, Russian clients (mostly men) insist that these women must be "very attractive, intellectual and not 'unfeminine,' slender, model-like blondes with drivers license, able to act as a personal secretary, speak several languages, know fighting techniques and handle all types of firearms." These expectations seem to be based on television and movie ideas about the industry, and not at all on reality-something the school's founder, Nadezhda Mikhailova recognizes. The school does request trainees be healthy (with perfect eyesight,) and applicants must endure detailed psychological tests and tough physical exercises and assessments. Women bodyguards who have completed the program (6 months) have been placed on assignments, however, they are not paid the same as men for the same job. This inequity is not lost on the school's owner, who regrets that women with the same (or better) skills are not being valued, simply because they are female. "It is known that women more often resort to 'peace talks' than force. Women are seldom treated as a source of menace, and this fact helps female bodyguards act promptly and effectively in case of emergency" she says.
In China, businessmen are seeking female bodyguards for protection, and the Tianyu martial arts school has created a training program which encourages women to participate. Course work includes driving instruction, computer skills and self-defense related laws, as well as martial arts. Xing Tianzhu is an instructor at the school and is himself a veteran martial artist, former special forces soldier and former bodyguard. A recent client who hired a graduate of the training program feels women are well-suited to this line of work, commenting, "I think that women tend to work more carefully and their powers of observation are sharper than men. My company also has three or four male bodyguards, and I find it works best when we use men and women in different combinations, depending on the task."
Libyan president Muammar al-Gaddafi, has been utilizing the skills of female bodyguards for many years.
In 2007, it was revealed that Prince William has two female bodyguards.
Aset Corporation out of Ohio, advertises on their website that their security teams are comprised of both male and female specialists.
Even Hollywood is helping to change perceptions. In the upcoming CBS series "Eleventh Hour," actress Marley Shelton will be playing the role of a bodyguard to a male government special science advisor.
All over the world, it appears that old ideas about bodyguards and executive protection are changing. In the United States, females who are able to pass the same physical assessment tests and display the intelligence and skills necessary to manage the job are in high demand, and often demanding the highest paychecks.

No One Seems To Know The Ten Commandments
The Ten Commandments of the Decalogue that were given to the Israelites by the man Moses are remarkable for two reasons. The first one is they appear to have been an advanced system of thought. The second reason is they are remarkably simple.
Another striking feature of the ten commandments is the first five mention the word "God", while the last five exclude any mention of God.
What surprises me more than anything is the fact people talk about the Ten Commandments and I have not met one person who can tell me what they are. I have actually surveyed hundreds of people and not one knew the ten. Some got six or seven, but even then those people were struggling. Although just recently, I met a woman who claimed she knew the Ten Commandments. However, they were an abbreviated version which she had learnt by rote using a memory technique. But she really didn't understand them.
When you think so many people seem to know about the Ten Commandments but do not know them and their significance, it is a farce for many people to call themselves Christians. Really you would think every Christian would understand what the Ten Commandments meant. Most of them will tell you that they are no longer relevant because the Old Testament laws have been done away with.
Does this now mean that God permits people to kill other people? How about stealing being acceptable to God? Adultery has to be acceptable to God, because it just so common these days. Since there are so many Christians committing it, maybe it is called loving one another.
Now this loving one another caper is supposed to be what Jesus said we are to do, so because the Old Testament has been done away, it is alright for Christians to bear false witness and take God's name in vain. A little bit of lust is alright because this is seen as a natural expression of humanity, so if somebody covets what you have, that is what advertising is all about. If you have it, advertise the fact.
Besides you shall have no other gods before me. I am the one who you should be looking at and thinking about and if you are not coveting what I have got, then I can't sell it to you.
Hollywood has been able to dominate the thinking of the world by working this principle of idol will reign and everybody must be looking good and hot to trot. And as for children being respectful and acknowledging that their parents, well that doesn't work, what you need to sell products is parents giving into the demands of their offspring. And a few laws so children can be protected from punishment for any crime and be able to stick it up their parents if they feel like it.
As for the idea of having a day off once a week to worship God, well that concept is no longer viable because there is more action going down at the sports stadium or the football field or ball park. And it is rather inconvenient when shops are shut one day a week, so better to have 24/7 or as close as possible.
But the one thing that does stand out about the Ten Commandments is all the social ideas that have been designed to replace them have been inferior, because stealing, murder, bearing false witness, divorce and dishonoring of parents and authority is on the increase, yet, according to the Bible if anyone can keep the Ten Commandments without transgressing one, they will have the power over death.
Now I am waiting for a scientist to take up the challenge and raise a child who will never transgress any of the Ten Commandments and see if the child lives for ever. Now that will be a scientific breakthrough, if ever there was one.
Since it is unlikely, I will have to accept that Jesus Christ never transgressed any of the commandments, because when he was killed, he rose from the dead. This means all I would have to do is get to know him and find out what are my options.

Of course it doesn't end here. There is no limit on what sounds you could use. You could use sound effects such as a stampede or even the sound of a train. You could use the sound of a pack of wolves coming when your team is making its entrance. Of even a booing crowd when you lose the game. All you have to do is be creative.
